The city announced last week a celebration on March 8 and 9 at Flat Creek Club and Drake Field for the city’s 60th birthday.
On March 8, head to Flat Creek for “An Evening of Conversation.”
It’s a casual mix and mingle from 6 to 8 p.m., featuring prominent Peachtree City speakers and the community. The evening will provide a snapshot of the city’s humble beginnings, and to fuel the momentum Hors d’oeuvres will be served. Tickets are $10 per person.

Officials announced on Facebook that live music and food trucks will be part of the celebration from 2 to 6 p.m. at Drake Field March 9.
The event is free and open to the public. The event will feature a wide variety of activities, including a kiddie ferris wheel, train, and extreme bungee and other activities for the kids. Most activities are free.
Paddle boats (limited excursions tickets available) will also be there.
After the sun goes down at 7 p.m., “The Greatest Showman”(Rated PG) will be shown on an outdoor screen. For more information, contact City Hall.
